“Making wine”, as mentioned in Chianti, contains the taste and passion that from three generations identifies the products of our family.

The beginning dates back to 1935, when Gregorio Faggioli, Alessandro’s grandfather, began the first production. At the time the cultivation of the vine was a marginal activity compared to the primary and more profitable production of the famous “straw of Florence”.

About 20 years later Gregorio moved, buying the farm of “Le Casine”, in the Florentine Ginestra. Here the first vineyard was planted, with characteristics of the vines and typology of the planting typical of the area.
As a tradition the predominant vine was the Sangiovese, skilfully combined with Canaiolo and Black Malvasia.

After three generations, Alessandro Faggioli and his wife Martina, continue and keep the activity of Gregory before and Raffaello then, expanding the surface vine on the hills of Florence.
